The 7073A Quad 12″ Active Subwoofer from Genelec is a powerful and precise active subwoofer perfect for large scale stereo or surround monitoring installations. It has 4 separate 12″ front-firing drivers capable of reproducing tones down to 19Hz. With a large sound pressure output capacity and versatile controls, the 7073A can be optimized to handle the most demanding low-frequency monitoring needs.
The integrated amplifier units provide 1000W of short term RMS power, plus 6 signal I/Os, summed signal outputs, and an LFE input with a selectable 85/120Hz low pass filter and a 0/+10dB LFE sensitivity switch. The sub also offers active crossover filters and overload protection circuits for reliable operation. Power-on signal muting adds additional protection.
