TRA charges an annual fee to the company for the rights to own an FM transmitter, a separate fee for each registered device and another fee for each day of broadcast.
The TRA uses a formula that includes the Basic Fee (B), Antenna Height above the ground (H), Power Factor expressed in ERP (P) and Service Type Factor (ST) and it is calculated as follows:
Fee = B + ( P x H x ST )
